Default Bridal Shower locations

Hi,

I'm an out-of-towner and i'm planning a bridal shower for my sister. I'm looking in the Media/Philly Area for a venue. I'd appreciate any ideas for places that can accommodate maybe 60-70 people and that is not super expensive.

Thanks for help in advance!

In Delaware County, Anthony's restaurant is very good. It is in the back of a shopping center off of Route 1 - Township Line Rd., so it may not look like much from the outside, but the food is great.
They have a big room to hold things like wedding reception even, and also smaller rooms for other kinds of parties.

Springfield Country Club has a Sunday brunch that is a really great way to celebrate. Anthony's is in a strip mall so it really lacks ambience. The Town House is kind of an old folks place and the food is just ok for the price. Charlotte's in Newtown Square is dark and crowded but has really great food, especially seafood.

Not sure if the Drexelbrook in Drexel Hill does small parties but it would also be very nice. The Old Mill in Media? as well.

I recommend Generations in Media on State Road (NOT State Street!). This is the restaurant formerly known as The Little Inn. Outstanding food, beautiful atmosphere. I think they're rather reasonable, too. We were going to have my cousin's baby shower there next month but the place was already booked.

I attended a wedding reception at The Old Mill in Rose Valley and was definitely not impressed by the food.

Good luck!
