Picky Person needing Kid Friendly Philly Suburb close to University City and the Airport
Be warned, picky person looking for a kid friendly quiet philly suburb *close* (less than 30 minute commute) to University City and the Philadelphia airport. Good public schools are a must, homes with character a must (no mcmansions please)..playgrounds, parks, dog parks, and walkable downtowns would be nice...4 bedroom housing under 600,000, and a yard needed. I have ruled our Narberth (kid friendly, but can't find a yard and the houses are too small for us), landsdowne (not the best schools), swarthmore (too far and too high taxes for us), wayne (too far for us). Does anyone have any suggestions?
