Greetings. I am an international student who is coming to UPENN in August to study. I have never been to US before so I don't have US credit history or social security number.
I watched some films that there are US families who would like to accomodate such a student like me, to live in their house with them for a fee. So how can I find these families? Or they are non-existing nowadays? |

I would contact the International House in Philadelphia http://www.ihousephilly.org. They may be able to assist you.
Good luck and I hope you love our city. Last edited by newmarlig; 03-26-2007 at 09:52 AM.. |

You also may want to check with UPENN's program - their office of international affairs may be able to place you with a family as well.

No, it doesn't work. The international housing does not have such a program to locate a family.
