Looking for a CHEAP Wedding Venue for 2010!
Hey everyone!
I am planing to get married in June of 2010 and i'm trying to find resonable priced locations where I can have both the ceremony and reception at the same place. The wedding is going to be small and no more than 50 people in the entire party.
I live in Bensalem PA. and the man that I am marrying lives in Delaware so if anyone can share some information for me and help us out I would truly appericate it a lot
Thanks In Advance Everyone

I've been looking for places this summer. One option which I did not take which I thought was well priced and beautiful is Bartram's garden ( Eastwick Pavilion ). It's only $300.
Bartram's Garden
We decided to go indoors.

It depends on what you want. Outdoors, indoors? Are you thinking of a sit-down dinner or cocktail? What is your budget...You don't have to answer my questions, just think about them because there's something for every budget depending on what you want. Check out some of the local wedding planners in the area. It's pretty reasonable to get someone for your day just to make sure things run smoothly, and they will have more resources, including places you have never even thought of. I recently spoke to a planner who was helping a friend of mine with her wedding, and she told us that Top of the Tower downtown offered an entire wedding package for $10000 from top to bottom-sit down dinner. I think right now with the economy you may be able to really negotiate the perfect packages for you. The same planner did a wedding for 75 people at the 4 Seasons she said and that was upscale, but also does tents says in West Chester. So you have options, use the internet-there's alot of info out there!

Check out country clubs - a lot of them are having crazy all inclusive pricing specials of around $60 per head.

Have you tried theknot? They have many venues listed and when I used it, they had ratings on the cost (didn't give actual numbers but would rank the cost from 1 to 4 or something, giving you a price range). Just watch out for venues that require you use their own caterer - I got married/had my reception at Aldie Mansion in Doylestown, which was great and the venue was only $1,750 (which for the area was reasonable and indeed is ranked as "inexpensive" on theknot). But they required we use their caterer, who charged $80-90 per head.
