Default Relocating just outside Philly
My college age daughter lives in South Philly and needs to move to a more cost effective location for a young kid starting out. She is looking for an apartment complex that is walking distance to a Septa line. She works in Center City and is looking to go to school at the community college and then Temple. I am looking for suggestions as to towns still around the Philly area and/or apartment complexes that have your usual amenities like washer and dryer. Any suggestions would be great.

there are parts of south philly that are probably cheaper than the suburbs. perhaps not the nicest areas, but, cheap. and you can rent for real cheap in fishtown, and have access the El for transp to center city.

Check Craigslist for apt shares in Jenkintown, Abington, Glenside.
