You're mistaken.

Duderino just posted a link with per capita incomes for the 3111 counties in the usa. The 4 Pa suburban counties were all in the top 100. New Castle De came in at 129.The highest per capita in South jersey was Burlington at 160.

Avg. estate in Moorestown 20% higher than Gladwyne/Villanova/Radnor? No!

We've been down this road before and it did not end well for you. I'll refresh your memory.

Out of 170 houses for sale in Gladwyne and Villanova 6 of them were listed for under $600 k. 4th qrt 2007.

Out 130 houses for sale in Moorestown NJ 86 of them were listed for under $600k. 4th qrt 2007. Its a different world over here Moorestownresident.

People are leaving North Jersey for the Lehigh Valley and Poconos for the lower cost of living. People from New Jersey are not moving to the Philadlephia suburbs because the cost of living + housing index is equal to or above that in NJ.

Yeah burlington county's median income is really $40K. More smoke and mirrors from Rocker et al.

80% of those listings are estates. You're not comparing apples to apples.

Well if you guys keep serving up fastballs, I'll keep hitting them out of the park. I enjoy the Philly region plus you need a SJ representative because there is so much mis-information given to people looking for info.

You're not hitting a thing; all of your posts are elitist 'NJ is better, wealthier, more cosmopolitan' than PA. Enough already.

I have never seen this in my entire life.
So are you suggesting I made it up? Perhaps I was hallucinating. It was a long day and I was feeling pretty tired. I guess it's possible.

The neighborhood elementary school is Ellwood (decent school, I know a lot of the staff). I'm not sure about middle school (Grover, maybe?), but I know a good number of the neighborhood kids go to Hill Freedman (a good magnate middle school; many of their students go to Central, Girls, or Masterman). I think the neighborhood high school is either Olney or Martin Luther King, both of which aren't good. That said, most of the kids I know/knew in the Philly system went to a magnate or a special program.

As far as non-public, there are several private or parochial schools nearby. There's also a few homeschool groups. One thing that my parents have mentioned, is that since they live on the Philadelphia side of the city line, they saved almost as much in taxes as my education cost. It's just something to look into if you like the Elkins Park/Cheltenham area.
