Relocating Need Shipping Advice
Hi Everyone,
I'm relocating to the Philadelphia area soon. I want to ship a cedar chest. I thought I could use Amtrak but they won't ship it since it's considered furniture.
Can anyone suggest any companies I could contact. Thanks.

How about Greyhound? Many times they will take items and you just have have someone be available to pick it up at the arrival destination bus depot.

UPS will take anything up to 150 lbs. Just have it packed really well...

Contact a trucking company that delivers to Philly from your location. You should be able to arrange for a pick up at your house. Good luck.

Any Pack and Ship store will be able to pack your chest for you. That way you have a choice of how you want to ship. Also you won't have to worry about weight/size limits, they should be able to take care of all of that for you.
