Default Our Lady of Mount Carmel?? Doylestown

Going to be moving to Doylestown and I am curious as to the schools. I have been told the public schools are excellent (elementary level we are looking at for now), but recently some people said we should seriously consider Our LAdy of Mount Carmel (house is in the region to attend).... does anyone have anything to share about this???

Why spend the money if you don't have to? If religious conviction isn't the motivating factor, and the CB school districts are what they are (very good) seems like sending your child to OLMC is an unnecessary expense. BTW I am a graduate of CB East and grew up in D-town when it was surrounded by farms.....seemingly so long ago.

If you want Catholic schooling for your children, then it makes sense to consider the local parish school. Some people like the fact that uniforms and other types of discipline and moral values are part of Catholic school tradition.
But if Catholic education is not a priority for you, then you will certainly be well served by the public school.
