Agreed.Quantity and quality but make sure you get extra cheese on a large since it's packed with so much meat.

The best cheesteak I ever had was at Philly's Cheesesteaks in Wilkes-Barre, Pa....all of their sandwiches are kick-&%@

But when I used to take my daughter to will's eye hospital (she's 1/2 blind) we'd walk to Yogi's for cheesesteaks, and they were very enjoyable....

You are correct. I always get extra cheese; however, unfortunately, I've reached the age that cheese steaks are rarely part of my life.

Now there is a pizza place that was in my neighborhood that made pretty decent steaks for a pizza place - it's name....like 50 others, Old English - this one is in Bridesburg though...
I'll take your word on D'Alessandro's.....thought they were really overrated and went back to Chubbys (underrated, IMO).

Pat's and Geno's are for tourists. Blech.

For a minute, Explorer's Den on La Salle's campus had some awesome cheesesteaks, but ownership of that place has changed at least a half-dozen times before Explorer's Den came back for real. Haven't been in there since the re-imaging. Anyone else been?

BTW, anyone else try Tony luke's cheesesteaks in the grocer? Heard they weren't bad, but the sodium content in one steak almost made my arteries burst from looking at the packaging.
