Default Delware County Private Rentals???

Hello. I am currently living in Delaware County. Due to dissolution of marriage and issues with my credit (due to spousal things), I am in desperate need to find a rental property for myself and my daughter.

I can spend $600-700 per month. Willing to do a one bedroom and give my daughter the bedroom.

I need to stay in Delaware County- in Collingdale where my job is since I don't have a car.

I can't get into a complex due to credit problems. Can anyone recommend any private rentals in Delaware County???

Can anyone out there help??? There must be others who have gone through the same thing.

Please help. Thank you!!!

Gina

Try craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums. I'm really surprised that you are having a hard time finding something in Collingdale with bad credit - but then again the apartment companies aren't exactly known for customer service or sympathy. You can also try hotpads.com and realtor.com under the Rental tab.

Good luck!

two bedrooms

This link didnt seem to be as useful but you could give it a go:

http://www.mainlinemedianews.com/

Also try the Phildelphia City Paper, sometimes they list "Main Line" homeowners looking to rent a room or two:
http://classifieds.citypaper.net/ind...CategoryID=312

Phila city paper's listings came all unsorted - 43 pages -i couldnt figure out how to sort the listings, not sure if its possible, but i didnt spend that much time looking...hope this helps you out.

By the way I looked up Collingsdale on Wikipedia and as I suspected, its accessible by Septa trains, which are very safe, clean and reliable.
This means you have more options to live anywhere along a SEPTA train stop and give you more options for apartment hunting.
Check out what wikipedia said:

Collingdale is a station on the SEPTA Route 102 Sharon Hill trolley in Collingdale, Pennsylvania. The station is located on MacDade Boulevard. It is the last stop before Sharon Hill, and the last stop to run along Woodlawn Avenue. Trolleys arriving at this station travel between 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and Chester Pike down in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania . The station has a shed with a roof where people can go inside when it is raining.
Between the Collingdale and Sharon Hill stops, CSX's Philadelphia Subdivision Freight line bridge crosses over the tracks. Often flooding occurs in this area, and shuttle buses between the two stations are used as substitutes for trolley cars.
