Default West Chester: public pools, parks...

Hi

I am relocating to the WC area and I'd like to know about

- swimming pools with no member fee, just daily entrance fee
- parks with lakes, possibly also swimming pool etc...
- things to do around WC
- major grocery stores

Thank you for your help! I look forward to living in that area!

I can't think of any parks with pools or a lake right in town (it's an old town), but this link shows several places in Chester county: Chester County parks and recreation, parks in chester county.

You may also try a search on this forum for past conversations about West Chester - it comes up quite a bit. Overall, WC is a nice town with a young feel during the school year due to the students at West Chester University. They have a great fall festival with restaurants and music. Here's a site about the downtown area: Downtown West Chester PA - The Perfect Town, Downtown West Chester Pennsylvania and West Chester BID
