Default Moving from suburb of Boston to somewhere in PA?

Hi, I'm trying to buy a house or rent a townhouse in the Lehigh Valley area or maybe towards Hershey. I need to be around hospitals or medical centers because I am in the medical field. I have a young daughter so I would like a family-oriented area with a good school system and low-crime. I don't want to be too far out west because I want to be able to drive to NJ or NY.
I would appreciate any feedback...

Well, you're in the wrong forum! We in the Lehigh Valley do not consider ourselves a Philadelphia suburb.

Lehigh Valley hospital and St. Luke's hospital have excellent reputations and are located in Allentown and Bethlehem. Southern Lehigh school district is rated very well and is within 15 minutes from either hospital but not in either city. There are a few clumps of townhouses that have been built in the last 6 years in Center Valley. Not sure of your price range but the location is what you are looking for. http://www.coopersburg.org/ Olympus just moved it's headquarters here and a new "outdoor living center" http://www.thepromenadeshopsatsauconvalley.com/ just opened last fall. Very family oriented area.

C'mon over to the regular PA forum for other opinions!
