Default Need more information on this area.

Hi,
Does anyone knows this place? 2322 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103. Because I have found an affordable apartment and i would like your honest opinion about the surrounding place. Is this area Safe? (especially for single lady) i'm going to Upenn and does this area has good public transportation (Penn shuttle, public transport)

I really appreciate all your feedback.

Thank You

It is a safe area. Use caution at night as in pretty much anywhere you live if travelling alone. It's fairly quiet as it's in an area where some streets dead end because of the river. I think it's a good place for a Penn or Drexel student when compared to many areas closer to campus. The Walnut Street SEPTA buses will get you to campus pretty quickly. I'm not sure of the Penn Shuttle route though it seems likely they should pass along Walnut Street also.

This is a very good area in my opinion. I would consider it pretty safe but you should always be aware of your surroundings. I don't know about shuttles but public transit should be very easy. You could just hop on the walnut street bus (bus 40). You could also walk up to market and hop on the trolley. Sounds like a great place for a Upenn student.

Good choice. Can't do any better for the city. You have other options, but this is definitely one of them.
