Default Commute from Art Museum area to Montgomeryville

Hello, I'm contemplating a move to the art museum area in the city. Just wondering if anyone might know how far the commute would be to and from Montgomeryville, PA during rush hour.

I heard there were back roads you could take (Kelly Drive, etc.).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Larry

It's very far and very inconvenient. Why Art Museum...and why Montgomeryville?

It's doable, but difficult.

Kelly Drive to Lincoln Drive (easy part, traveling opposite most rush hour traffic).

Lincoln Drive (twisty) to E. Mt Airy Ave / Easton Rd (local stop&go, many lights) to 309 North (you'll hit some traffic with rush hour).

You might want to test the route out at the weekday hours you're thinking of driving, before you do it.

Thanks so much for your reply. My job is in Montgomeryville. I'm living in Ardmore right now. I really like the area, but was thinking that the art museum area might be more social for being 39 and single.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I was thinking that once school starts (so I have the most realistic idea of what my commute would be like), I would take the trip and see how it works out .

Right now I live in Ardmore and it's about 23 miles or 35-40 minutes to work in Montgomeryville. I'm just trying to figure out how much worse of a commute it would be.
