So ... we should all know by now that trash is every other week in the city.

The mayor is cutting the hours of the workers who pick up our trash .. in half.

That's right .. they work every other week. ... getting paid only half to pick up the same amount of trash.

Our trash sits in our homes and apartments for an extra week.

He is trying to strong arm every one into an addition in sales tax and most likely an additional fee for trash.

This is a low low tactic when so many patronage jobs belong to unqualified friends and relatives and may yield little or no work ...

To me .. this time nutter has outdone himself in low. ...

I am under the impression it is immediate
Recycle every week .. there is income in that.

What I want to know is will these hard working people who do one of the toughest jobs around lose healthcare because they lack enough hours ??

This mayor, the whole city council and everyone involved with Philly politics Blow! These fat over paid, lazy self serving two faced criminals couldn't get a deal done if there lives depended on it.
How about cutting the size of council to match the population of the city and reducing THERE pay's and pay roll's.Where the hell does all the money go,
city tax,business tax,sale's tax,property tax...tax for this , tax for that....

So now were gonna cut trash pick up huh? And then when they resume a weekly pick up there gonna say"well the only way to afford a weekly pick up is to tax it."
Then it will be fire and police service (again) then teachers and what ever else that is needed to run a normal city.

I remember when I was a kid in the mid eighty's I lived in Kensington and the neighborhood had a problem getting regular trash pick ups so the people decided to pile all the trash right across allegheny ave. at D street.
Then all of a sudden BAM regular trash pick up!

I hope the city trash workers go on strike.I'll support them, then while there on strike the people of this city can pile all our trash right in front of city hall!

sorry had to vent a little.
