Default Broomall?

My husband and I are relocating from Northern VA and are thinking about buying a house in Broomall, PA since it is close to work and seems to be one of the few places where we can afford a 4br. Anything we should know about this area? Is it safe, are the schools good, etc...Thanks!

Broomall is a nice community. Solid schools, very safe, nice central location for easy commute to Center City Philly and the professional hub along RT. 202.

The Media + Havertown areas(similar housing prices to Broomall) hav slightly better schools and is just as nice of an area, they are worth checking out as well.

I agree with everything said. The traffic is a nightmare. Broomall clogs up with through traffic to Rt 1 and Rt 3. Going home at night I used to get stuck all along the way between those two routes. If you don't mind the traffic then you are good to go. We never had a problem there otherwise.

Thumbs up Broomall Traffic

Once you learn all the back ways, the traffic isn't so bad!

Default Broomall is great...

also check out Springfield too. Good area and good schools. As mentioned traffic is tough. However, it's not as bad as some major Eastern cities!
