Hey Philly residents. I'm visiting the city of Philadelphia this summer.

I'm staying at the Holiday Inn in South Philly. I plan to ride the Broad Street Line into the city in order to do some sightseeing.

Are there any places along Broad Street that serve Philly cheesesteaks?

I also plan to visit Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. So if there are any cheesesteak places arount that area, please let me know.

I know Philly has Gino's and Pat's on 9th St. But those are way too far from any SEPTA line.

Any help?

This summer? I certainly must say that you plan ahead. Anyway, you can go into any pizza shop in center city (and there are plenty of them) and get a cheesesteak (that will be better than Geno's or Pat's).

I haven't had either but I always hear people talking about Tony Lukes and Jims on South St. I think Tony Lukes is opening a place in Reading Terminal Market.

Cheesesteaks are good but I don't think they are a little overrated. I would rather have a Primos Italian Hoagie or a Nicks Roast Beef. DiNics Roast Pork in the most underrated.

I've never had one, but that primos Italian Hoagie just sounds good. I need to move to a foodie place like Philly .
