Hi, I was wondering what rush hour is like on 276 east bound in the AM, and west bound in the PM. I would be commuting from about ~20 mins east of Lancaster to the Newtown area. If i left at 6 am i'd probably on 276 by 7ish.

And what about 76 east in the AM up until King of Prussia? I know its real bad going both ways from K.O.P. to center city, but what about up UNTIL king of prussia?

Thanks

76 isnt too bad until you hit the King of Prussia 422/202/476 interchanges.

Newtown Delaware County or Bucks County?

Since it's 276 I assume the OP means Bucks

276 isn't that bad in either direction except around KOP. There's a lot of volume so you can get the usual delays from accidents, construction, etc. but on a normal day it isn't that bad.

I'm pretty sure its Bucks County. It's the one near Trenton, Morrisville, Levittown, etc

In case this is a helpful data point... 276 eastbound is a breeze between 476 and the NJ Turnpike at 7AM. No problems. There is heavier volume but you can still move quickly (75-ish MPH) westbound along the same route at about 5pm.

(I live south of the 276/476 interchange on 476 so can't speak to anything on 276 west of there.)

About 3-4 years ago I commuted through that general area, the only part I noticed being kinda slow in the morning was 276 westbound from Ft. Washington/309 to Plymouth Meeting/476, that may have changed, who knows.
