I have been on SEPTA's website to try and figure some things out, but I am having no luck. I don't understand the 'zoning' and how to find out what zone my neighborhood is near. I have studied the transit map and still can't figure it out. I, also, am having trouble with what type of fares to purchase and the cost. I am interested in a monthly pass, but the website is very confusing. My neighborhood is Fishtown and I need to get to Chinatown. Any help would be great, thanks!

The zoning comes into play when you are traveling outside the city. For travel within the city you can get a Transpass - here's the link.

I will agree that Septa's web site is very user unfriendly and I can't understand why. True it's alot of information but they still don't have to make it so difficult.
