Hi. I already ask about moving to Philly. I am getting married and moving to Philly. I will be studying in PENN. What places would you guys recommend to rent an apartment other than University City? Thanks!

If you're looking for a suburban atmosphere, check out apartments near the Lansdowne and Secane train stations, which are a 15- and 30-minute ride respectively to the University City station via the R3 Regional Rail line.

If it's an city environment you're looking for, it may be a little tougher to match your rental range with something convenient and comfortable. Some here have mentioned certain South Philly neighborhoods east of Broad St. I'm a bit behind to curve to make specific recommendations. Fishtown, NE of Center City, might work as well. I think anything you find in Center City itself for $750 may be a bit cramped for a couple of newlyweds. Any further north/northwest might make for an inconvenient commute to Penn.
