Default Stowe, PA

can anyone tell me about Stowe, PA? my wife and I are looking for our first house and our budget is kinda limited and most of Chester County is overpriced. we see that Coatesville is another affordable area but doesn't sound like a great place to live, and the same with Pottstown. Stowe is pretty close to Pottstown so that kind of worries me, but it does look like a nice place to live. any advice?
thanks!

Stowe is relatively undeveloped although just west of there across the berks county line there are alot of new housing developments in Amity/ Douglassville. There is a landfill that straddles the county border which had some problems near there. Generally Pottstown problems stay in Pottstown, just like Reading problems stay in Reading and don't trouble surrounding communities.

Stowe is generally a quiet area, with mainly older residents (senior citizens). There are far less problems in Stowe than Pottstown.

You may also want to post this in the general PA forum. Many people that live out that way may not read this Philly forum.
