Default Neshaminy SD - Feasterville-Trevose Area

First post here but a long time lurker on these forums - have loved the comments from all of you here.

Have lived in the Philly suburbs (Lansdowne, KOP, Horsham, Bensalem) for last 6 years. Finally decided on purchasing my first place - i really like the new Walnut Groove development in Feasterville-Trevose (on Philmont ave, just next to the walnut ridge townhouse community). Infact I have put in my deposit to hold one of the last end-units in the development.

I have a 3-yr old and I am still on the fence regarding the school district. This comes under the Neshaminy school district - it seems a decent enough on paper but wanted to get some opinions - especially if someone here has kids attending one the below 2 elementary schools which are closest to this community:

- Joseph E Ferderbar Elementary School
- Lower Southampton Elementary School

Would appreciate ANY feedback on these schools - the overall culture, quality of teachers, extra-curricular programs, attitude towards minorities (I am asian) etc. Thanks to all in advance.

Neshaminy is actually a very good school distrcit.. They dont get as much credit around here as they should honestly. They had a blue ribbon middle school, and are always pretty highly ranked. They also have a lot of extra programs/activities for the kids.

Any other opinions on Neshaminy SD?

Council Rock and Central Bucks have better reputation, but these two also have very bad reputation for drugs.

Any opinions?
