Better than most who die in a hospital. They rolled my aunt over to a dark corner that was hard to find and just left her once they realized she didn't have too much longer. I found her and got my cousin back down there tout suite. And I told the jerks there to get some pain meds back in that IV so she'd quit moaning in cancer pain.
Death is seldom pretty but some make it almost so.
I hope this isn't too much against the grain ... but I still think Jack Kervorkian (sp) was right and the way he did things was correct even though not legal. I don't think you have mental illness when you decide to check out. The problem is when some people decide they want out ... they may inadvertently take someone else with them. Did not happen with the way Jack did it.
My greatest fear is that when it's my time to go ... I will be at the mercy of someone (who thinks they are doing what's best for me) doing what I don't want. I don't want to exist looking like the airconditioning system of a Cadillac with all those wires and tubes. Existing is not living ... but those in that situation are unable to do anything about it. What a shame.
Is there something I can do with that link, or is is just a b/w photo of a man in bed? Or an explanation of what the site is about?
It is a slideshow with captions inserted. When I put my cursor on the photo the slideshow arrow then shows up, otherwise it doesn't. So it is more than just one photo.
Only the Samurai spirit can decide what makes it a good death.
