Yep. It is just Creative Intelligence evolving. Always has been. Always will be. The wonderful fables dreamed up by scientists are just one example. The Bible another. Creative Intelligence, or the Dao, or the Elan Vital (as Bergson world call it) is truly Creative.
The only thing I find tragic was that in 1869 DNA was discovered but they did not understand it or know what it was therefore it was ignored for another 50-60 years.

Latin names are suppose to sound brainy and worthy of billions of bucks in funding. For me they could have just as well called all of these small, itty, bitty things wiggly worms. It would be more fun.

I vividly remember my Biology teacher said they have to use scientific names to distinguish it from the other. Like the common names isn't enough?!

Because she thinks using long Latin names and then having to memorize them is a waste of time?? This type of nonsense really is a waste of time except for those who enjoy spending their time on this kind of stuff - I guess so they can show off what they memorized.
For me, more time should be spent on the arts, sports, and other fun things so people are given the knowledge of how to enjoy life.

They are a funny - albeit sort highly creative - bunch of fellows. Not only do they get paid for digging and finding stuff (most of us have to do it for free), but they have convinced people that it is super important! Major creativity at work! But dinosaurs are fun and I enjoyed looking at some made up skeletons of what they may have looked like when I was very young. ☺
