We're already there and look at society. A bunch of baby mamas running around. People getting away with sex crimes and murder. The ones that are supposed to protect us (military, police, government officials) are breaking the law left and right.
Needing to "tag along" with hubby sounds like "dominance" in the same way that a dog has dominance in a home. They might be fed and pet sometimes, but they are in no way "dominant."

with all the pc and harassment laws...men are shamed and guilted into being very shallow and walk on emotional glass...because anything a man says/ does ,,,can be considered sexual harassment
sound ridiculous?? yep because you are a woman,,,
we were told by the "workplace environment specialist" at no time,,can a man compliment a woman in the workplace,,about her losing weight,,,clothes, new hair style,,,,,, make it all about work,,, she can joke around,,,touch your arm,,,,, if she wishes,,,but we cannot.. its HER interpretation alone ...live with it..
never be alone in a room with a woman at work,, the feminists should celebrate
In my experience, the only men who have issues with pc and sexual harassment laws are the good ol' boys who need them. Men who genuinely respect women as equals manage to complement them without coming off creepy and perverted. Guys who are only putting up a front because they have to will forever struggle pulling it off and yeah, probably should just keep their mouths shut.
So the show Sliders is one of my favorite TV shows, anyway in one ep they go to another dimension and are in a female-dominated world where Hillary is president and it got me thinking.
Say a portal opened up to a female-dominated world and you had the chance to go and live there, do you think you'd do it? Think living under a matriarchy would be better?
And for men: If you were to wake up and find yourself in a female-dominated world and you couldn't get back, how would you take it? Would it bother you?
Don't think it would bother me much, except the Hillary part!
sexual harassment is like a hate crime,,it only goes one way
sad but true
I asked a few ladies at work this question,,,,, both said no they wouldn't they would rather have a male boss than a female boss...
this floored me wasn't expecting that- they said- male bosses are less emotional and have a tendency to not pick favorites,,,, and they don't do things,,,then reprimand you for doing the same
What are you a NUN?! Saying that a man needs to be monitored by a neutral party when in the presence of a woman is the reason people cant take feminists seriously. Even the WOMEN I know dont take feminists seriously......
He was whining about how careful he has to be AT WORK.
And it's true. Everyone needs to be careful in the workplace. We all deserve to feel safe at work.
No one should have to work in a hostile environment. So my point to him (the OP) was for employees to be protected (male or female), someone should be present (a neutral party) if counseling a coworker about behavior, dress, attitude, whatever, someone else should be present, otherwise it could become a he said/she said.
Obviously (to most people with common sense) males and females can work together. Some men (and some women too) cross the lines, can't keep their hands to themselves, use inappropriate language and make the workplace a hostile environment. It's not okay. Even a good ole' Southern boy like you, down South guy, should know that.

I can't believe those big meany heads who kick up a stink when you just try to have a little play with some nice soft breasts. I mean, it's as if they think women are people or something!
Next thing they'll be trying to tell us ellipses can only be made with periods and only three at a time. Darned women!

No, he's saying that NO compliments are acceptable. It's crazy out there! But women can dress like hookers and people are scared to call them on it. They make some guys really uncomfortable when "everything on her shakes when she walks". WHY do they do that? How do they get away with it? I'm talking a military environment where these women are around young military guys in uniform who can get busted if they even look at someone wrong. And the women can cuss and flirt and lay hands on, etc. Very one sided.

I think you've done a pretty splendid job providing the example for my comment. Thank you.
