If you get pets, have them spayed and neutered. Also, don't get them unless you can afford veterinary care and good quality food for them.

Also, you can't let dogs run loose if you have any neighboring average with livestock. As a person that lives in the country I can assure you that we shoot dogs if we catch them chasing livestock or getting in the henhouse.

I volunteered in a shelter and it's not even a matter of doubt in my mind. They are far better off in a loving home than in there.

My cat is my little companion, has been for the past 13 years. She's been with me through thick and thin. No regrets whatsoever.
