Default Chandler

Tell me abput Chandler. We may be relocating & I'm looking for someplace that is a sort of an easy commute to downtown & close to Scottsdale. How long would it take to get downtown at rush hour? What about Scottsdale, rush hour and not? What is Chandler like?

Thanks so your help!

Master Shake will become famous soon enoughMaster Shake will become famous soon enough
Take a look at these two postings:

Arizona City by City -- look for the posting on south Chandler.

Arizona City by City -- about half way down, look for Gilbert.

Chandler is bigger than Gilbert and has more commercial and industrial areas, but they are both similar in most areas. The commute during rush hour will be around 45+ minutes, depending on which area of chandler. It would probably be roughtly the same or slightly less to Scottsdale, again depending on where in Chandler you are starting from -- and where in Scottsdale you are going to.

Thumbs up Pick a location close to 202

If you pick a location close to the 202, you will have convenient access to Phoenix (202 connecting to I10) and Scottsdale (202 connecting to 101). If you can avoid rush hour or if you carpool (only applicable to I10), you can get to downtown Phoenix and Scottsdale in less than 30 minutes.

About Chandler itself: Chandler, especially the southern part of the city, is relatively new and very well planned. E.g. our city block (major cross roads Alma School and Queen Creek Road) has an elementary school and neighborhood park. Everything is close by: shopping, dining, schools, sports facilities, etc.
