greetings everyone. I have a few questions and would like some opinions on certain things. I currently live in the NW suburbs of Chicago and I am coming out to Glendale to see relatives (and stay with them) for a week in September. I have a few questions about places to see, how hot does it get, etc.

1) How hot does Glendale get say around mid-late September? (so I know what to pack when I arrive in September)

2) Do you know of any places where I could take my 2 younger cousins to ( one is 13 the other is 7)? (Phoenix Metro (suburbs) if possible)

3) Do you know of any good reliable job recruiter/headhunters in that area?

4) How hard is it to find a job if you've got some sales experience, customer service, some IT work (no certifications), and a hs diploma (but soon an Associates in Applied Science degree in Computer Application Software)?

5) I'm trying to find a nice apartment to rent ($300-$500/mo) near the Glendale Community College (or even near Sunset Elementary School) but I don't know the neighborhood or how the crime rate is around that area as I'm trying to stay close near family.

6) Do you know of any places/sites that can help me find a job in the Glendale area even though I don't live there?

Looking forward to your comments/opinions.

Very Hot. Do not pack any coats. Bring sun tan lotion.

Lots of places to take kids. Phoenix Zoo, Wildlife World Zoo, Castles & Coasters, Hooters.

No jobs here, forget it. (Try Craigslist, Jobing.com)

You can get an apartment for $300 but not a nice one. Maybe $500.

If I don't bring a coat then what's business professional dress wear in AZ?

Hooters? quite doubt it

I've tried those sites but no replies from any of them as I'm considered an out-of-stater.

I'd rather pay between $300-$500 so that way I'm not eating up my savings to live there.

I do want to move to AZ once I land a job down there first. I'll use the search function and see what it turns up

Thanks for the information
