I'd just like to do a little comparison on the MPower
with SRP if you have it.
I live in a trailer and my ac is just a 13500 btu and
with the brutal heat we've had over the last few
days my meter is consuming over $5 a day in elect.
I'm very frugal with my electricity, and only have
tv on or computer on, nothing else. Turned off the
big refrigerator (saved a lot of electricity there) and
only use a little dorm fridge for the minor stuff I keep
like mayo, etc. Normally, when its about 80 degrees
my electric barely goes over $2 daily.
I'm just curious what a regular house consumes on
a daily basis with the ac going like lately.
FWIW, I love the MPOWER and it helps me manage
the budget much better.

ha, just spoke to my neighbors, they are using 7.50 a day, but
they have a little bigger place and a little bigger ac. I'm satisfied.

My brotehr uses it in an apt. and he is running round 11-12 bucks a day. I do not use it and am in same apt. complex. Last month my bill was about $70 and change and that is b/c i put the AC on mid-May.

I think its made me obsess over the use of my electricity.
I feel fortunate mine only uses $5 a day with the ac running.
I'm just so aware of everytime I turn on a light, definately
good for budgeting.

My mom and I share an electric meter and our bill was $92 on the one we got a few days ago. We've both been running coolers a lot more but I feel we are doing pretty good for two homes. I also run two overhead fans with or without the cooler being on. I don't run the cooler at night but have a box fan I use in the bedroom. I think it said our cost was just less than $3 day. Our ACTUAL electric usage wasn't much at all but by the time they tack on all the taxes and misc. BS it runs it up pretty good. I also run the TV and computer most of the day. Well, I did, till I started working so now I'm gone a good share of the day.
