Hello everyone,
I am from Charlotte, NC and moving to the scottsdale area in acouple of weeks. I am wondering if anyone knows a good apartment complex in that area. I am looking for either a studio or 1 bedroom. I have looked online, but there are so many options. So basically wondering if anyone has some good insight. Thanks.

Well, I haven't moved out there yet, currently looking for places out there. I got a job out there via a government organization. The job does not start for acouple of months, but looking to head out there now anyway. I really do not know many people out there except acouple of my buddies I grew up with in California. I have been there a couple of times and love it. I like CLT alright, I am not from here though so I am ready to get back out West. I went college in Charleston (SC) and loved it there, but no job opportunities.
Are you trying to move to scottsdale or actually PHX? Where is CLT did you or do you live?
I lived in the Dilworth area...

Give us a little idea of where in Scottsdale you will be working. An address or cross streets will help. Then we can recommend some places. Scottsdale is pretty big (long north to south) and could be a long commute if you move to the wrong place.

Acacia Creek and Miramonte are both fairly central in location and convenient either way. Check their websites for info.

Where do you plan on working is a question that you will need to answer, but it is nowhere as important considering the question of how much you want to spend.

Do you want to be in an up-and-coming area? Do you have a car, if so, how much would you be willing to spend on parking? Looking forward to help.

Good luck. I'm working hard to get out of here as soon as possible.

But if you're going to be working in southern or downtown Scottsdale you could also consider East Phoenix. I've experienced two complexes in this area: The Peaks at Papago Park on 52nd Street/Van Buren and Alanza Place at 44th Street/202. Both have easy access to southern and downtown Scottsdale.

I live over by Matthews....But really trying to relocate to Phoenix.....I have traveled extensively to Phoenix on several occasions on business...and I took a weekend excursion out there earlier this year.....Really loved what I saw....Personally I think there are more job opportunities out there...but just having hard time networking since being out of the state.
