you know your in phoenix when everyone drives up to flagstaff to the snow in winter because it is still to hot in Phoenix

when you expect a nice cool breeze in the morning so you open your door and you find the phoenix summer waiting for you

You know your in phoenix when Alaskans are constantly asking you "How do you take the 116 degree temperatures in Phoenix" and your reply is "Easy-with the windchill it is only 115"
