I would be very cautious about houses in Scottsdale for that sort of money.
Don't become a Scottsdale hater because you didn't realize that there is a vast amount of wealth here and people like to show it off.

Are you talking about prices where you moving from, or in Scottsdale? Currently in the MLS for Scottsdale, there are 2 that fit that price range, bedrooms, and size. One is a short sale, and the other an investor purchased foreclosure trying to flip with no repairs/updating.
