Thanks for the link. NY is due to have sighting Aug 28. I'm checking it out.

I have really powerful binoculars x 144. Do you think they would make a difference using them?

Also, thanks for the info on the north star. I've been looking for it for years now and always thought it was the brightest star. Funny - probably some planet - LOL - It is hard to find the little dipper , though.

It is, especially in the bright lights here. Best to look on nights with no moon. If I recall correctly, if you follow the line created by the stars forming the outside edge of the Big Dipper, it points to the Little Dipper.
