We are considering moving to Gilbert with an adult son with cerebral palsy.
Currently he receives long term care in our home. He needs supportive home care. He also receives dept. of vocational rehab services, we are trying to prepare him for a job.
Does AZ have a similar program? Are their wait lists? How do we transfer a case without a loss in services. I found the online application, but we are not residents yet so I wasn't sure if I could apply.
Any links would be helpful.

You will have to be a resident here before you can apply for services with DES/DDD or Long Term Care (called ALTCs) but there are the same services here as there and there are no wait lists as far as I know. We have had alot of budget cuts to services, so you may have less than you thought you would. You can always call the adult intake for DDD and ask. I think the # still is 602-246-0546. Used to work in that office...
