Not sure what part of Scottsdale you will be moving to... but I **highly** recommend Mission Montessori on E. Shea Blvd.... close to Fountain Hills. Below is their website. Majority of the teachers have been with the school for at least 3-5 years.

Welcome to Mission Montessori Schools

Thanks for the info. We will be moving to the McDowell Mtn. Ranch/Ancala area. That is where we plan to look. Do you have any idea what the cost is? I see there are various montessori preschools throughout Scottsdale. Are they all related/good? Did your children go there?

Your location should be about 10 minutes from Mission Montessori. It's located at 130th and E. Shea. Yes, my son stayed there for his kindergarten year. We were very impressed with the progress he made. He was able to read, write simple sentences, and do math on additions and subtractions. The teacher/student ratio was about 9-10 which we considered very low. His teacher and her assistants had been with the school for several years (4-6 years). To us, this is always a good sign.

Regarding the costs, you will have to check with the school for more up-to-date information.

Sorry, I do not have personal experiences with other preschools.

I believe Anasazi Elementary (Public School) on 124th and E. Shea also offers PreSchools. Both of my sons are now at Anasazi and we have been very happy with them as well.

I was very excited to see the link for Mission Montessori! Me and my family plan on moving within the next year to Arizona and were concerned about who would care for our 1 year old son who will be 2 almost 3 by the time we move. After looking at Missions website, I was impressed! Thanks!
