Gilbert is basically pet friendly, but maybe not 5 cats pet friendly. Can you lie convincingly? Like 2 or 3 cats worth? It worked for me twice. (It helps if a couple will go under the bed when the doorbell rings.)

That just sounds so funny! Yeah, I don't think ANY big complexes would ever allow 5 cats! You'd have to lie on this one. Go with whatever their limit is and pay the deposits. Or you can find a really cheap, gross complex that may not mind, but who would want that? |

Actually, gross apartment complexes may be more fussy than a better place (because they have gross people, and are suspicious.) It's good to reconnoiter the place and choose an apartment or townhouse where the excess little darlings can be sneaked in after dark.

Thank you all for your help! I will try the sites suggested.. & consider fibbing a bit about the number of cats! Some of them DO look alike.. hmm.. !

5 cats might be a toughy but please don't give them up for an apartment. I hear that story all the time at shelters - that the landlord won't let the person keep them. Many shelter animals never get adopted so please don't give up on the little ones.

.. I won't take them to the shelter. I have been told I am stupid for having so many.. & that cats are a dime a dozen.. & why don't I just keep two.. & so on. I didn't plan this! I fed a stray, he brought along a friend, & she was prego! Instant family!

Well, I had 2 cats that both died (of old age) within the past year. I miss them terribly. I do have a little baby girl but I still miss them. I love cats - meow.
