Fri - Went to a friend's frat party/newly single party
Sat - Took the restrictor plate off my car to give it a little more juice. Later went to Home Depot & looked at some flooring and wallpaper. Then to Bed Bath & Beyond but got there 10 minutes before they closed.
Sun - Had a fight with the SO, kinda got kicked out.
Mon - Went to see a marriage counselor.

We took the RV to Prescott. Saturday went fishing. Sunday went to the "Fair in the Square" and visited some of the shops, then saw a movie. Monday went fishing some more, had a tasty lunch (at a restaurant because we didn't catch anything ) then got home mid afternoon and vegged for the rest of the day.

Hung out with the kids on Friday evening. Went to a place called Ciscos Mexican Restaurant in Westlake Village Ca with two other couples. Then at 10pm Ciscos turns into a nice little night club. Spent the remainder of the night dancing with my wife. We headed home around 1am and since my wife looked as hot as she does we headed off to our room and we ..........well that is a story best left to another forum. LOL

On Sunday after attending chuch we spent some time as a family walking to the park and just having a nice quiet sunday.

Monday found us at the beach in Ventura CA. Saw some dolphins hanging out near the shoreline. A few people paddled out on kayaks to check out the dolphins. We watched from the shoreline. Around 3pm the fog rolled in ending a fun day at the beach. After gettin home I grilled some burgers and hot dogs and we had a nice little dinner.

May not be the Valley of the Sun, but you did ask. LOL

We had family visiting from out of town so did a lot of cooking and entertaining at home, drinking margaritas, and watching movies (best was The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). Saturday night we went out to one of my favorite W. Valley restaurants - Arrowhead Grill in Glendale - Kumamoto oysters, Delmonico steaks, lobster mashed potatoes, and warm chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream. Ended a fun holiday weekend relaxing at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge on Labor Day. First, at Roy's for $5 "Aloha Hour" with Mai Tai's (and quite a few other tropical cocktails) along with fried calamari, tempura ahi roll, and lobster potstickers. Then sunset, a glass of wine, and listening to live music by the water on the patio of the Vista Lounge.

Really!? I was going to be there but I had to cancel at the last minute. Traffic in Payson was horrid and we left a bit later than we intended. If I was there you would of saw me because I would be in my uniform.

You just made my mouth run dry. I can almost taste those delicous entrees. And I can just imagine the sunset at a resort by the water with a glass of wine. ( I'm a teenager but I've tried my share of wine, plus I'm catholic so I can say it's just blood) I heard, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, was a great movie also.

Haha I should do that next time! I love reading about other people's holidays. Just in case mine sucks, I can read about how others had a great one and get ideas to spend my next one.
