We recently provided some service to two apt complexes in Phoenix. The one bed was going for around $800 with some incentives. These are two nice places that I would stay at if I needed to. The area is not an upscale Biltmore kind of area. The owners are putting in quite a bit of money remodeling the lobby and adding an internet cafe as well as a sports bar. One is The Estates on Maryland, and San Valiente on Mission Lane. Private email me and I would be happy to give you the phone numbers and you can call regarding rental rates.

I recently looked at Roosevelt Square on Central and Roosevelt , the studios and 1 bdrms were anywhere from $600-$1000 per month depending on square footage. I would say you could get something pretty nice for about $800 per month.

You can check out the prices and floorplans on sites like apartments.com, apartmentguide.com and rent.com (but you have to set up an ID and give an estimated move-in date on the last one, real pain). One, I forget which, will also let you search by zip code.

Thanks, but I'm just looking for a general price range.

I saw a bunch of places on Rent.com which start at 400 actually. I'm pretty sure its a 'you get what you pay for' scenario, though.

Eh, oh well. Anything can beat the 1,050/m dump I'm living in right now. LOL.
