I think Im just gonna get a CNA license and do private work. Shoot, it pays more and is less stressful.
I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors. One door closes, many more open. You are now free to move in any personal direction you choose. Good luck.

I appreciate the apology and understand what you meant.

Hey PhoenixScorpioGirl,

From what you wrote, I am sorry for what they did. It does seem that some sort of injustice was applied to you.

This happens to a lot of people and has been happening more often in this recession. At my own company, they've been firing left and right. And most of the ones fired probably should have been fired. The companies are looking at a way to cut costs. In your case, it seems you have been attempting to make the business more efficient, so somehow I think politics was involved.

Every one of us is on shakey ground. We cannot kid ourselves.

So my best wishes are for you to find a much better job at a better pay so that you can laugh off this situation as their loss.

I'm so sorry you lost your job. I was lucky. I worked for Uncle Sam for 37 years and had job security for the entire time.

It may sound trite but I do believe that:
Sometimes the loss of something means that something better is coming along.

Don't lose hope. Things work out. Good luck!

quote: "Well, shortly after I started our Supervisor got moved because she wasn't doing her job right. I had complained to the co coordinator about how things were disorganized and I couldn't find certain documents etc. Plus the place was a mes and dirty so I helped organize everything and cleaned up then they had me doing the supervisors job as well as my own."

You complained, got your supervisor "moved", took on your supervisor's job, and then fell behind. They let you go.

Lessons learned: Never "complain"! Act happy as a clam at your next job no matter how miserable you are !!! And don't take on more responsibilities unless you are certain you can handle the increased load. And, try never to do this without getting promoted and taking on more money!

I do realize that today- especially- that it's all about getting more work out of fewer employees. Most employers will also only keep people who "get along well with others" and that means both colleagues and the boss in particular. This is often more important than quality or quantity of work.

Better luck next time.

Maybe I didn't tell the whole story right.
The Sup got moved out of there b/c while she was gone with some of the clients, another client got into the house through a window and stole an extra set of keys and took some narcotics. They temporarily suspended her for not taking all the keys with her, then they moved her. I wasnt on shoft at all during that time-it had nothing to do with me.
They just kind of added all the extra work onto my shoulders but were very appreciative of it (seemingly) and I thought they would be happy with my hard work and it would go towards a raise and/or promotion...guess I was wrong (sneaky bastards )
And I do get along well with everyone. I went out of my way to help, and always was polite and smiling , when I did complain it wasn't in a mean way I just wanted things to be in order where I work, after all places like that do get scrutinized by state licensing and I didn't want to get in trouble for paperwork not done correctly or anything like that.....so that's what that was all about.

I think quality and quantity is important-more than just kissing a**. But for that place-who knows what the hell they expect from people .

I am seriously thinking of leaving Az..I love the beauty of the state but am getting fed up!
Sorry to sound like such a whiner I just needed to get this off my chest
I am so sorry to hear this. I was hoping I was wrong. Arizona only pays $240 a week for unemployment so I hope you find something soon. I have faith in you that you will.
