Those suckers are MUCH bigger than a big fly. Have you seen them up close? They are huge!

The only creature that has tried to ruin my life and I had to run away from was human, or at least I thought it was human when we first met. The bug's agenda at least stayed outside! I think an interesting forum would be stories of criminals people have come across. They're the true creatures.

It's just mating season for the Cicadas. They're having a good time enjoying themselves for the very short period of time that they have. They do not bother or hurt anyone. The noise you hear is the large commune of them enjoying their annual ritual.

I remember them when I was a kid, they used to hang around my parents house, which is around 29th Ave and north of Bethany Home. Back in the early 1970's, that area was considered rural, and that's why we used to see them. My parents stopped seeing them I think sometime around the early or mid 1990's, because they prefer rural areas. Me and other kids from the neighborhood used to have fun and shoot them out of the trees with sling shots and BB guns.

This always cracked me up, 'mating season'. I wish humans would have mating seasons too, instead of having to get dressed and got a bar and buy bunch of drink or get married, etc.

Mike, how would you like if one of those bugs stung you while you were mating? Seeing how twisted you are, you'd have probably liked it!!
