What I DO resent are the cameras on the corner of Scottsdale Road and Shea trying to catch anyone two seconds late on turning! And trust me, Scottsdale is loaded with this sort of stuff!

I guess I don't see the difference.

The left wants to control every aspect of your life outside the bedroom, the right doesn't care about any aspect of your life other than what you do in your bedroom.

Fair enough?

I can see the cameras on freeways, as they slow down 100 mph speeders. I just cannot see how my driving 47 in a 45 should get me a ticket in Scottsdale. Then again, I can, as it's BIG TIME revenue for the city.
I have to say, as someone who had family members that left their wives and children for years to fight the Nazi Party, who nearly froze to death in the Battle of the Bulge and who held the line for Western civilization against those totalitarian maniacs, and who helped liberate the remaining Jewish victims from the Nazi death camps...to trivialize the murderous horror that was that German National Socialist movement by comparing it to everything you percieve as a social inequity, or simply a personal inconvenience (such as traffic cameras) is kind of revolting.

Well said, Mike. Sort of like the Republicans back in the 60s, 70s, 80s referring to anything liberal as some communist inspired plot. Now a days they just say liberals are going to hell.

But it isn't wrong to identify people as Nazis if they want to be identified as Nazis

JT Ready is not nor has ever been a Republican. Why do you keep giving this clown facetime? He is anti-immigration (all kinds) so he has gone to many anti-illigal immigration rallies. Beyond that, he has no association with the Republican party.
This arguement of yours, Boompa, has grown very tiring.

I think it's a people thing and has nothing to do with politics, religion, or body types. In fact, just by objecting to another person's behavior or post, one's own behavior might be misconstrued.

We are all wrong about more things than we can ever imagine. We say the wrong thing, we hurt someone's feelings, we don't think about the outcome. We just want to vent, or spew. We have a lot of good qualities, too, but when we do something that another objects to, those things don't get recognized.

I think that's the basis for the suggestions about not judging, and turning the other cheek. None of us is perfect, any time.

Oh, go ahead. I have a Jewish friend who sends me emails of concentration camp stuff, anti-Iranian stuff, and all this other pro Israel propaganda. Frankly, I am tired of it and find it kind of revolting. It is NOT only the Jews who were killed in the holocaust, but of course people never talk about this. And I've asked her to stop, and she doesn't. I've actually had to SPELL IT OUT and I find that very irritating.

I'll use whatever language I want to and it's my prerogative. As long as I comply with TOS, that is what matters. Sorry you are so offended.

Oh, and my Dad was a WW2 Vet, and while nice he was honored at his recent funeral, I plan to leave it there and not use it to promote some agenda. Oh, and my uncle fought on D-Day at Normandy, yet I never feel the need to inject this factoid into common conversation.

If you insist that it is your prerogative to associate a term such as Nazi to something currently going on in this state, then it is equally ok for others to bring up factoids in an attempt to illustrate your ignorance.
