I cannot seem to find the info anywhere. Looking for any in the P metro area... county mental health clinics or sliding scale ones.

Thanks!

Try ASU's Psych department. They have a sliding scale, and will work with you for what you can afford.

Do they work only with adults or children too?

Here is a website from the Arizona Department of Health Services with a list of sliding fee scale clinics by county:

Arizona Department of Health Services - Office of Health Systems Development - Sliding Fee Scale Clinics

And another website that might help:

http://www.southwestnetwork.org/nt19...p?engSearch=41

And lastly:

Category from Resource Guide
Here is some as well, but call first, like they state we have had funds cut, federal and local. Call and make sure they are still offering the service. I'm sure some of them are.

Call Terros or Magellan (the RBHA for Maricopa County). You can look on google for Terros, but they also have a crisis line 602-222-9444 and it's "warm" after 5. By this I mean you don't have to be in crisis to call after 5. Magellan can also refer you. I, personally, would call Terros first.

As to Southwest Network, you have to be "in the system" to get anywhere with them. I'd avoid them. I used to work for them.

You might also check out Southwest Behavioral Health Services (for adults). They are affiliated with SW Network, but much better run. Sorry, don't have the number, but you can google on it. I'd still start with Terros.

Also, I don't know what you mean when you say sliding scale in terms of $. I do know a very good therapist who does this, but I'd have to discuss with both you (via PM) and then run it by her. I really think she's great and she does do this, but I'd never refer anyone unless I thought it appropriate. So please feel free to PM me if you like and we can go from there. In my estimation, she is worth every cent and is very reasonable. She charges less than what you'd encounter in private practice (unless you have insurance). Just a thought. Oh, and she is a fully licensed MSW.
