Interesting, thanks, I didn't check districts I didn't have direct knowledge of. Shame on me for assuming. But, some schools started their break several days earlier than usual (Kyrene, for just one), so it makes sense that if others started later, they end later.

That's weird. The 2nd is a legal holiday. Even the trash guys are off. In the other part of Goodyear, schools in Estrella start on 1/4.

Maybe we need a large county-wide school district for Maricopa county. That would solve a ton of problems like this.

It's really not a problem at all. parents should know when their own kids go back to school. what day neighboring districts go back to school is irrelevant.

Some cities have multiple districts that are on different schedules. Goodyear for example is covered by no less than 4 public school districts which don't all share the same schedules.

Maricopa county needs a unified school district.
