For the most part, you'd deal with the same national chains that are everywhere else: Best Buy, Circuit City, Sears, etc.
If you want a local, independent dealer, Roy Edwards is one that has been around for decades. Amazingly, the company appears not to have a Web site, but here's the address and phone:

I've had good experience with Spencer's. They have several locations around the valley.

Associated Appliance Sales
Associated Appliance Sales
4139 W Bell Rd Ste 12
Phoenix, AZ 85053

They have been in the valley for over 20 years doing business. I’ve never found any product that I could buy at a lower price elsewhere! “NEVER” ~ I have sent friends to them and no one has ever been unhappy with the service or price. The owners are great people to deal with and I promise you – no matter where you go for appliances Big stores or not, Associated Appliance will have a better price and service that you will appreciate.
They will deliver city wide so it's worth the trip from the east valley if needed.
I forgot to mention that you can find any make model and if they don’t have it in the store they can get it for you, and it will be less money then the big box stores.

All these are great....does phx have a scratch and dent store??? I live in Austin and we have Giant appliances that are S&D appliances. Great prices and they deliver! I'm trying to find something like that for this house.
Good but not real $$$ because we may only be here 18mths.

Ok, here's the trick to getting the best deals on appliances in AZ and probably anywhere else. Go to Lowe's , Spencers , Home Depot or wherever you feel comftorable shopping. Pick out your appliances and get pricing. The next step is to take that pricing over to the competitor and have them beat it. You keep on going back and forth to the different store until you get their bottom line price.
The final step is to take out your credit card and pay the man!
I reccomend Spencers, good people to deal with. Also, Costco has some good deals on Washers and Dryers . If you have dealt with Costco before you know that no one beats their return policy.
Best of luck.

We bought from them in 2001 and had great service and product but we have been going occasionally to the shopping plaza they were located in and they seem to have gone out of business there at least a couple of years ago. I know they used to have more than one location but I don't know where the others are.
So my second choice is Spencer's. The more appliances you buy the better the price. They have good customer service.

I'm in need of a new microwave & range hood combo. After a disappointing attempt to buy one at a big box store, it might be worth the drive to give this business a try. A few questions about Associated:
Do they push extended warranties? I can't stand it when stores try to twist your arm to buy one of these. They should stock products they know are unlikely to fail.
Do they deliver, install the new unit, and take away the old one?
Do they service the brands they sell?
