Is there anyone that makes a GOOD quality Flipable interspring mattress in the valley?

I have spent 2k on two beds that are big name, and sag days after purchase.
I am sick of the quality the big names have now.

I am about to purchase ONE MORE TIME. I dont want to go over 1,300.

I was going to buy a firm Stearn & Foster, but they have gone downhill.
THe new beds they have , are 14.5 gauge, and low 600's count, but they count then as two with the new coil. Seems like that would not work.

I want something I can flip, that has a strong gauge, and cozy that will last.
HELP!! Latex not an option, I do not like it. Memory foam is SOO hot and I am hot sleeper. Sleep number is an airbed. I can blow up my own.

Looking for GOOD quality insterspring local. Anyone??? Im, Desperate!! SO much back pain. Two new beds and Im sleeping on the couch. The simmons was one dud, the stress o pedic the other dud.

gonna be tough to find a flippable. Manufactures stopped making them for the most part about 8-10 years ago. Could probably have one made though, check out RS mattress, I know they have there own factory....good luck. BTW, I would check out other Latex mattress sets, as there are hundreds of different "feels" and I know Sealy has a good one they put out a few years ago...don't know if they still make it though, but it was firm, not a soft piece of crap.

Bedmart sells mattresses made in The Valley. Mine was 299+tax. Been working good for over a year.

If you're willing to spend that much, hold out and go look at sleep numbers. My parents finally bought one in their 50's and swear by it. This was after 5 years of having it, and say they would've done it sooner if they only knew.
I'm so convinced now, that our 10 yr old mattress, which is sagged quite a bit, will be gone and that we'll be getting one before year's end.
They're closing out their super deluxe top o' the line i10 model now until the end of April. The must be coming out with the next "superer deluxer" model. Remember, you don't have to buy the whole set. We're going with just the mattress, cause the boxsprings are just fine.
Foreverking is right about latex, some of those are really comfortable, and they come in a wide range of stiffness. If you choose latex, spend a couple extra hundred and get natural latex, it doesn't break down like synthetic nearly as bad, if at all.
Lastly, I'd be nervous about a $299 dollar mattress, and its longevity; just my 2 cents though.

I'm always surprised to hear people spend so little and put such little importance on their mattresses. Of course, it's that's all you can afford, it's one thing..but if you spend a bunch of money on other things but not on your bee, I don't get it. I mean you literally spend 25%-33%+ of your time on your bed every day...shouldn't it warrant a little more than a few hundred dollars?

I dont think 1,300 is a small amount myself? That is what I can afford.

I think that comment was in response to someone finding a good deal for $299. It wasn't addressing your situation.

nope - but most expensive doesn't alway equal the best

we bought our mattress in 2003 along with a whole bunch of other furniture for our apartment ... when we went into the store the salesman ran us through all the top end models and sold all their virtue and goodness ....... then when we balked at just how expensive they were he tried to sell it again ..... we balked again and then he was like "well, check out this one then - still very good, just not as expensive"

I have no idea why there was a price difference ....we actually preferred the feel of the cheaper (yet still not cheap) mattress and it still serves us well today ....... until reading this post I had no idea that single sided mattresses even existed .... we still do the flip and rotate on ours .... from some of the stuff I've read it sounds like 2 sided are making a comeback

As for pricing - i think the most important thing is to find one that works for you, provides proper support to your needs, etc .... from there worry about pricing .... i would say that a good mattress is fairly important as it can tie into so many other things associated with your body

the same can be said about footwear though ... you spend a lot of your day in them, they help support your body, the walk you walk, your posture, etc ..... however, there may not be much difference between a $50 pair and a $200 pair other than some non-impact bells & whistles as well as a heavy advertising budget
