Default Rude People

I work at Sea World San Diego and I have to say about half of the people who visit from Arizona are just rude.Very rude.Cussing, threating to run me over, one lady even grabbed me a few weeks ago.I find it sad, because the local people from SD are nicer, even LA folk.So may I ask why are you guys so rude?Nevada,OR,NM,CO,UT,WA all of them are nicer than you guys.

Maybe you should be nicer to the people? We pay almost $60 a ticket, we expect wonders.

So does everyone else. They don't complain as much as you guys.I get "thank yous, your kind, enjoy your day" from all sorts of people so I would consider myself nice.I had a great deal of respect for people from Arizonans, until I noticed how rude you guys are.I still have some respect but you guys and Nevada people where people I loved to work with and talk to. Not all Arizonans are rude, some are just as nice as the average person.

Hmmmmmm....maybe b/c practically everyone who lives in AZ is originally from CA??????

I gotta run now - there are a few puppies and small children outside that I need to go kick around, and an old lady walking across the street that I think I can nail with my car if I hurry

I assume you work in the parking lot? If not I'm wondering how you can tell Arizonians apart from Sandy Eggans. Just for the record though, most people you come in contact with that are "from" Arizona, aren't from Arizona. They are transplants from CO, WA, IL, CA, UT, MI, WI, IN, CT, ID, OR, TX, MA, NY, PA, NE, SD, ND, IA, NJ, etc., etc. i.e. transients and trespassers. Unfortunately, as m1ndless alluded to, some people think because they paid for a service, they can treat folks in the service industry like servants. You'll find rude people everywhere.

Of course. Especially the old ladies...they've been around long enough, they should know better than to walk across the street in Phoenix with our drivers. The kids, well, they gotta learn it's tough world. The sooner the better.

This is what happens to people when they move to Arizona. It isn't as if this is a happy place. Hey, just take a look at the posts on this forum.

Wow. I am from southern Cali... about to move to AZ. I guess as soon as I move to AZ, I will automatically turn into a rude person. Maybe I should re-think my move....

Stereotyping an entire state, based off a handful of negative encounters from AZ residents confuses me.
