Looking for a new gym, and one with a pool is a must. Any recommendations? Closer to I-10 and Chandler BLVD the better.

There's an LA Fitness near I-10 and Chandler with a pool.

Lifetime Fitness is right along the I-10 next to IKEA and Dick's Sporting Goods in South Tempe. Lifetime Fitness has both a large Indoor Pool and Outdoor Pool with waterslides both inside and out, lap pools, diving wells, hot tub whirlpools, sauna, steam room, large free weight area, resistance trainning, cardio, on-site child care, free towel service in the locker rooms with membership dues similar to that of L.A. Fitness. I recommend taking a free tour of both health clubs.

Other Valley locations for Lifetime Fitness include: Gilbert, Scottsdale, Avondale / Goodyear.

ditto... you can't get any closer than this; it's practically at the intersection that you mentioned.

Lifetime Fitness is at Warner and I-10 which isn't much further.

When examining pools, you have to examine the locker rooms too. The locker rooms at LA Fitness are dirty and small. At Life Time Fitness, the locker rooms are big, they keep them clean, the lockers themselves are bigger and you don't have to carry locks since your membership card can be used to lock your locker. LA Fitness has no free towel service and if you do pay for it and they limit the number of towels you can have and are small hand towels.

Also, at Life Time Fitness they have multiple pools so you don't have to wait if you want to swim laps. At LA Fitness, they have one small lap pool and there is a wait to swim laps. Lifetime Fitness has an indoor lap pool, an outdoor lap pool, an indoor play pool and an outdoor play pool. So you have two lap pools to choose from. Lifetime also has free towel service and often times, they have fresh towels that are hot right out of the dryer being folded by the employees right outside the locker room. They don't limit you to the number of towels. They have different sized towels not just hand towels like LA Fitness. Finally, Life Time has a separate family locker room if you bring children with you which is a huge convenience.

If you are a serious swimmer, I wouldn't consider any place other than Life Time Fitness in the area you mentioned. LA Fitness is cheaper but you get what you pay for. LA Fitness the rates typically range from 20-35 per month per person. At Lifetime Fitness, the rate is 40-50 per month per person.
