If you're already on the list in Michigan, I'd stay there until you complete the program. Wait lists aren't any shorter here, and you'll need the support of your family and friends to make it through any program.

As for jobs here, as a new nurse, you're climbing uphill - about 20% of new grad rn's in AZ are unemployed for at least 6 months after graduation, and that figure is directly from our board of nursing. Once you've got experience, there are more opportunities, but it isn't all sunshine and roses, you may have to work nights & weekends, you might not get benefits, etc.
