Oh my... what part of town is this in? Are we talking in Phoenix itself or one of the surrounding communities? This is the kind of thing I really want to avoid.

I probably won't buy right in the city of Phoenix. I'm looking at some of the surrounding areas, and also still considering areas outside of the Valley too, as I'm not coming for a job so I'm not limited to a specific area. I'm considering anything in my price range (under $60,000) that's in a decent neighborhood.

I rent an apartment in Phoenix and am home every two or three weeks for a weekend. Rented there five years. Neighbors were all quiet up to October, then next door went ghetto. CRAP "music." I came home from a tough week in L.A. And anticipated an antidote to the hectic L.A. Scene. What I got was the random vibes from the common wall that would drive less patient ones for their Colt 1911. Instead I complained to management. It helped lots. Now when I come home for the weekend and hear cRAP, I turn on my TV loud enough to make my neighbor know I am home. He eventually realizes it then shuts off the cRAP. Did I convey, by the way, that cRAP is subhuman?
