I'm at the gym right now (elliptical) like I do every day and wow does this humidity suck! I mean I normally sweat pretty good but it's like someone dumped a bucket of water in me. Maybe it's more comfortable outside (for some) but at least when it's 107 with 6% humidity, inside buildings it's perfect. With the humidity it seems you can't get away from it inside or out.

The humidity doesn't stay at that level, as it does other places (and at a higher level). I'm glad for that. I don't notice much difference in air conditioned buildings, but in a gym it might well be a different story. Lots of sweaty people making it harder to get the humidity out of the air.

I notice a difference as well in indoor places. In Texas and Florida during summers, you can be indoors and your carpets feel sticky and your sheets feel slightly damp as well. Your hair doesn't seem to dry as quickly when you get out of the shower. And the A/C doesn't seem to work as well unless you have the dial at 68-69. In Phoenix, my house feels cool at 73-74.

I consider a house freezing when it's 73-74! Usually I'm comfortable anywhere from 76-82.

I must be weird, during nice weather I don't want to do anything, but when it is really hot I get all enthused to work outside the house but almost impossible because of the heat.

73-74??? My thermostat wouldn't recognize those numbers, except in winter. I keep mine at about 80. Tile floors and ceiling fans in the rooms I'm in most take care of me just fine.

77 degrees for the win! I don't like ceiling fans as they dry out my eyes it seems.

I have to sleep at 76 or less. Have tried higher, can't do it. I keep the house about 79 while I'm awake, but it's not exactly comfortable. 84 while I'm gone. I would prefer to keep it at 73ish if I could afford to run my AC like that.

Not really. I managed to get a good deal of yardwork done the last 2 weekends when it was about 110.

Wow 76 or less when sleeping? I have air conditioning here in NC but rarely use it. I only use it if the indoor humidity gets above 60% and then I only cool my place down to 85 degrees. I have not had any trouble sleeping at that temperature although I do have a fan blowing directly on me when I sleep.
